Project Background
Brace productions is a female-owned creative film production company based in London specialising in commercial, brand and product films for lifestyle and travel brands.
Brace was looking to update an outdated WordPress site which was no longer fit for purpose. With an extensive portfolio of projects, all housed on Vimeo. The brief was to curate and collate the films in a new portfolio and service-based website design that connected to their target audience. Included in the brief was clean navigation, timeless and highly visual with a human feeling, with the user experience to dive into the film content hosted on the site.

ACTIONS TAKEN:
Refreshed the logo and brand colour palette to govern the composition and design of the new website.
Sourced images to support the client's own photography to work with new brand styles and site design.
Sourced information icons to communicate the business’s services.
Developed a custom template to create categories for all the films across the business activities. The result is that Film projects can be sorted, and new projects uploaded and tagged systematically.
We placed the films at the heart of the website design with lots of white space for these cinematic quality films to take centre stage. With a short edited showreel of the company’s projects being the hero image on the home page.
Easy to use the navigation across all digital devices with CSS styling.
Custom enquiry forms to capture prospective clients' information.
After project completion, clients receive training for self-updates, so live website content may differ from my original design.
